Hanyu Zhang

Welcome to my homepage!

I'm currently a third year PhD student in the Statistics Department at University of Washington, advised by Professor Marina Meila. I am interested in various problems in Statistics and Machine Learning, especially on unsupervised learning and network data analysis. Currently I am working on model free validation of clustering. I was also glad to work with professor Wei Sun from Fred-Hutch Cancer Research Center, professor Fang Han from Statistics Department at UW and Sida Peng from Microsoft Research on specific projects. Previously I got a bachelor degree in mathematics at Tsinghua University and was advised by professor Bo Li on my undergraduate thesis.
